01

Project Overview

A sleek, modern cocktail-themed website built as part of a JavaScript Mastery tutorial to enhance skills in GSAP animations, modular JavaScript, and responsive UI styling. The project showcases smooth motion effects, engaging visuals, and a clean UI layout suitable for a premium cocktail bar or mocktail lounge.

02

Problem

Most web interfaces lack engaging interactions and feel static. While animations can enhance user experience, poorly implemented ones often hurt performance. The challenge was to create a visually rich experience without sacrificing responsiveness or performance.

05

Approach

Focused on building a scroll-driven experience using GSAP while maintaining a clean and modular React structure. Prioritized smoothness, responsiveness, and visual storytelling.

Structured the project into reusable React components with a clear separation between layout, animation logic, and UI sections. GSAP animations were modularized to keep the codebase maintainable and scalable.

12

Performance Optimization

Optimized animation timelines and minimized layout shifts to ensure smooth rendering. Tested responsiveness across devices to maintain consistent performance.

14

Solution

Built an interactive cocktail-themed interface where users scroll through visually rich sections enhanced by smooth animations and transitions.

15

Impact & Metrics

Delivered a smooth, animation-driven frontend experience. Strengthened expertise in GSAP and improved ability to build performant, interactive interfaces.

16

Reflection

This project reinforced the importance of balancing aesthetics with performance and using animation intentionally to enhance user experience.
